Dr Maria Cecilia Massoni Passos

Dr. Maria Cecilia (Ceci) was born and raised in Brazil where she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sao Paulo in 2015. During the whole course of Uni, Ceci knew she wanted to dedicate her studies to surgery. Soon after finishing Uni, Ceci pursued a specialization in soft tissue surgery, her area of passion. She completed a post-graduation and a residency program in 2017. Ceci was then invited to be part of a surgeons’ team at one of the busiest hospitals in South America. During a year Ceci could follow up on several clinical cases and enhance her surgical skills.

In 2018 she decided to come to Australia to travel a bit around and improve her English. She fell in love with the country, decided to stay longer, and qualified her Vet degree here. She misses her two furry baby girls every day, Anabella and Morgana, kittens that were rescued when she was in her first year of Uni.

When not at work she loves sunny days at the beach, playing instruments, and spooky movies.

She can speak Portuguese (native) and Spanish.

Dr Ceci can’t wait to meet all of our clients and their beloved pets
