Dr Julian
After graduating from Melbourne University in 1995, Julian’s vet career has been both extensive and diverse. He began in Regional Victoria in mixed animal practice and then spent several years working in the then the UK.
Julian has worked and owned veterinary practices in the surrounding community since 2010. He has extensive experience in orthopaedic injuries as well an interest in chemotherapy treatments.
Julian always endeavours to educate his clients and is always up for a conversation on the importance of dentistry. He also enjoys teaching and mentoring vet students and new graduates.
He is the proud father of Olive and James. They all have a love of pets and are devoted to looking after their own furry friends and any that come into their care.
When he is not spending time in the practice, Dr Julian is enjoying the outdoors with his children, watching Melbourne (AFL) or training on his bike for his next big riding challenge.
Dr Julian enjoys developing long term relationships with his clients and is looking forward to meeting you and caring for your family of pets.
Chelsea
Chelsea is the Practice Manager at East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital and plays a key role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly every day. Working closely with our veterinary and nursing teams, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the hospital, supports our staff, and helps create a positive experience for both clients and patients.
Having previously worked in industries outside of animal care, Chelsea brings a diverse range of skills and experience to the veterinary profession. Her strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and people-focused approach have made her an invaluable member of the EDVH team.
Chelsea is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment for pet owners while ensuring our team has the resources and support they need to provide exceptional patient care. She enjoys the dynamic nature of veterinary practice and finds great satisfaction in helping both animals and the people who love them.
Outside of her management responsibilities, Chelsea has a keen interest in canine behaviour and continues to pursue professional development in this area. Her dedication to learning, leadership, and client care reflects the values that underpin everything we do at East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital.

Annie
Annie is a dedicated Veterinary Nurse at East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital who brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a strong commitment to patient care to every aspect of her role.
Working across both surgery and nursing consultations, Annie enjoys supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey—from preventative care and client education through to anaesthesia, surgical nursing, and recovery. She is passionate about helping pet owners better understand their pets’ health and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
Annie has a particular interest in preventative medicine and believes that small interventions and early detection can make a significant difference to a pet’s quality of life. Whether she is assisting in theatre, running nurse consultations, or supporting clients with nutrition, weight management, and preventative healthcare, she strives to provide a positive experience for both pets and their families.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Annie manages EDVH’s social media presence, helping to educate, connect with, and support our community through engaging and informative content. She enjoys sharing the stories behind veterinary medicine and highlighting the special bond between pets and the people who love them.
Annie is currently undertaking postgraduate studies and continues to pursue her long-term goal of becoming a veterinarian. Her passion for animal health, dedication to lifelong learning, and genuine care for her patients make her a valued member of the EDVH team.
Alexis
Liana
Liana did competitive Horse Eventing as a youngster and started her employment in the Animal Care industry as a Groomer’s assistant in 1998. Shortly after, Liana studied for two years and obtained her Veterinary Nurse qualification before leaving to work in the UK for two years, getting experience in a wide range of emergency centres, including “live in” Vet Nurse positions.
Liana has been with EDVH since her return from the UK in 2002, now working part time whilst being a mum to two wonderful boys. She enjoys her furkids Zippy, a 10 year old black and white kitty kat, who was adopted by Liana after being left at EDVH as a tiny kitten and Flynn, a two year old Koolie x Kelpie.
Tayla
Tayla Lane is an integral part of our team at East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital, currently studying for her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Tayla’s dedication and commitment to her studies are evident in the outstanding job she does every day. Her passion for animal care and her eagerness to learn make her a valuable asset to our clinic.
In her spare time, Tayla enjoys riding horses, combining her love for animals with her love for the outdoors. Her equestrian pursuits reflect her commitment to animal welfare and her desire to connect with animals on every level.

Jada
Jada is one of the friendly faces you’ll meet at East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital. As a Veterinary Receptionist, she helps keep the clinic running smoothly by assisting clients with appointments, enquiries, and day-to-day support.
Jada has a special love for birds and shares her home with feathered companions of her own. Her passion for avian pets gives her a unique appreciation for the many different animals that visit our clinic and the special relationships people have with them.
Known for her warm and approachable nature, Jada enjoys helping pet owners feel welcome and supported from the moment they walk through our doors. She is excited to get to know our clients and their pets and to contribute to the caring environment that makes EDVH such a special place.
Annie
Annie is our dedicated Groomer at East Doncaster Veterinary Hospital and is known for her gentle, patient approach with every dog that comes through our grooming salon.
With a genuine love for animals and a special passion for dogs, Annie takes great pride in helping pets look and feel their best. She understands that grooming can be a new or sometimes stressful experience for some pets, and works hard to create a calm, positive environment where they feel safe and comfortable.
Whether it’s a routine groom, a tidy-up, or helping a nervous dog gain confidence with the grooming process, Annie approaches each pet as an individual and takes the time to build trust and positive experiences.
Her kindness, attention to detail, and endless affection for dogs make her a favourite among both our canine patients and their owners. Annie loves getting to know each dog’s unique personality and looks forward to welcoming your furry family members for their next grooming appointment.
