A lot of pets will display problem behaviour at some point in their life, such as barking, aggression, fear, anxiety, phobias or house soiling. It is now recognised that puppies and kittens brains are damaged at an early age by over exposure to the ‘stress’ hormones, cortisol and adrenaline. Consequently, paying close attention to your pet’s environment is important from day one. We do our part by keeping the stress of visits as low as possible, with the use of treats, soft padding on the visit table, pheromone diffusers and avoidance of white coats!
Fortunately, there are many options available to help treat problematic behaviours. However, early intervention is key. We can provide behavioural assessments and action plans, to ensure your pet receives the help they need.
